Step 2: We select questions for testing & put Nexus to work
Questions will be tested using White Cup’s demo environment—not your company’s private data.
Kristen Thom will determine whether Nexus provides a reasonably responsive and supportable answer.

Step 3: Break Nexus and receive an award
If your selected question is within the available demo data but Nexus cannot provide a reasonably responsive answer, it breaks Nexus. Eligible recipients will receive a US$250 award through available gift-card or charitable-donation options.

Will you use my company’s data?
No. Selected questions will be tested using White Cup’s distribution demo environment—not your company’s private data. Do not include confidential, proprietary, customer, employee, pricing, or other sensitive information in your submission.
What if my question needs clarification?
White Cup may contact you if your question is promising but needs to be clarified or rephrased for testing.
What counts as “breaking” Nexus?
A selected question breaks Nexus when it can reasonably be evaluated using the available demo data, but Nexus cannot provide a reasonably responsive and supportable answer.
A question does not automatically break Nexus simply because the demo environment lacks the information needed to answer it. Questions that depend on private company data, future events, unknown competitor activity, or other unavailable information may not qualify for testing. Kristen Thom will make the final determination in accordance with the Official Rules.*
Can existing White Cup customers participate?
Yes. Eligible employees of existing White Cup customers and prospective customers may participate. Being a customer or prospect—and participating in sales conversations—will not affect whether a question is selected, how it is evaluated, or whether it qualifies for an award.
Can more than one person from the same company enter?
Yes. Multiple eligible employees from the same company may participate, but each person may submit only one question. Each submission will be reviewed separately under the Official Rules.
