Vice President of Sales
The Role
Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Vice President of Sales is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and managing the entire SaaS Sales team in order to achieve team goals and targets every quarter. You will ensure the Sales team has all the ongoing enablement and resources needed to do their job effectively and build a robust, growth-oriented business.

As the Vice President of Sales, you will:
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute strategies and tactics that drive demand generation and create new sales opportunities
- Continue to build, scale, and manage high-performing new customer acquisition and existing customer sales teams
- Develop (and/or modify) and implement best practices in B2B SaaS sales, including compensation programs, lead management, prospecting, activity management, forecasting, and reporting
- Manage the sales-cycle from qualification to close while consistently delivering on a sales plan each quarter.
- Understand account’s problems and needs, effectively communicating how our products and services will meet those needs and improve customer business performance
- Provide consistent and effective feedback from sales engagements to Product Management, Development, Professional Services and Customer Support to ensure our products and services meet customer expectations, and that both requirements and deliverables are consistently met and prioritized
- Identify and develop non-direct business development opportunities that will provide growth opportunities for White Cup in 2023 and beyond
- Provide executive leadership, mentorship, industry & segment knowledge to all of our GTM motions
- Be an effective decision maker: planning, setting priorities, and balancing competing demands
- Effectively communicate to internal and external audiences in events, meetings, webinars, videos, and written communication as a spokesperson for White Cup
- Partner across White Cup to establish C-level relationships with customers and technology partners
- Consistently meet or exceed company sales goals and business development targets every quarter
Candidate Profile
The Vice President of Sales for White Cup will be an experienced and respected professional, with a track record leading and scaling SaaS sales teams inside an industrial industry (i.e. Wholesale Distribution, Manufacturing). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial aspects of the industries we serve, strong and extensive relationships within those industries and an ability to leverage that knowledge to drive White Cup success.
The new Vice President of Sales will bring:
- 10+ years B2B Software leadership experience
- Wholesale Distribution and/or Manufacturing industry experience, preferably with both mid-market and enterprise account selling
- Strong working knowledge of industry specific technologies, including ERP systems
- Strong working knowledge of the use and benefit of CRM, Business Intelligence and Pricing application within Wholesale Distribution and/or Manufacturing
- Roll up your sleeves, entrepreneurial, get-it-done attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven experience initiating, developing, and closing B2B SaaS Software deals – both personally and as a supporting leader
- Proven track record of exceptional sales success and operational excellence through creating successful internal and external partnerships

- Eligible for variable incentive compensation
